But our world, our tiny little world ... ... doesn’t always burst into flower and we have to search for happiness, sometimes in the strangest of places ... ... we may seek, but we do not always find ... ... and of course there are always broken promises ... ... not to mention broken hearts ... ... so watch out for the social climbers, who climb all over everyone, even themselves ... ... and watch out for the rabbit who reads from a potent podium to a captive audience ... ... and the self-servers who help themselves to themselves ... ... but not in front of the children, dear ... ... and don’t ask too many questions ... ... you may not like the answers ... sail away ... ... sail away ... and the farther the better ... but nothing and nobody can prevent you from enjoying crackers, candles, and a cake on your birthday ... ... not to mention a jar or two of booze ...
